Over time, our faces can start to flag. Breakouts can manifest, eyelids can start to droop, makeup doesn’t sit so well on the skin (and becomes increasingly arduous to apply). So what are the bespoke routes to facial rejuvenation that can refresh our appearance, while preserving our individual beauty?

We were joined by some of the most renowned experts in facial aesthetics – including dermatologist and laser guru, Professor Firas Al Niaimi; ophthalmic surgeon and FaceRestoration founder, Professor Jonathan Roos; and The Lanesborough resident and founder of ‘The Couture Brow’, Suzanne Martin – who revealed the subtle solutions to looking fresher for longer: from cutting-edge treatments and surgical techniques to the transformative power of makeup.

Together, we learnt to embrace what makes each of us unique, while discovering new routes to optimising our skin, features and visages. The goal? To restore lost confidence and take back control of our faces – but also to face the future looking, and feeling, brighter.

Firas is a world-renowned, multi award-winning Professor in dermatology. With over 20 years of experience, he lectures around the world on the latest advancements in laser treatment, and is the first and only Professor in laser dermatology in the UK. Today, Firas works from the Taktouk Clinic in Knightsbridge, where his diverse approach helps patients suffering from conditions such as acne, scarring, pigmentation and even hair loss.

Professor Jonathan Roos
Jonathan is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon whose work spans eyelid surgery, facial aesthetics, orbital diseases and more. Trained at Moorfields, Harvard and Cambridge, he is the co-founder of FaceRestoration, where he works alongside Dr Rachna Murthy. Based at Lanserhof at The Arts Club, the duo provides a unique dual-care approach that helps to calm nervous patients and ensure a superior outcome.
Suzanne Martin
Suzanne Martin
Creator of ‘The Couture Brow’, a natural and flattering eyebrow enhancement, Suzanne has been working for over ten years as a semi-permanent make-up artist and aesthetician. Utilising her unique skillset as a professional makeup artist previously working with Christian Dior, Suzanne is now exclusively in residence at The Lanesborough, where she sees clients from all over the world who are seeking the ultimate bespoke brow.
