As we become slowly accustomed to a different way of life, new anxieties can start to emerge. But how do we handle the stress of COVID when it manifests in our skin – and in our self-esteem? This socially-distanced event brought together an empathetic, female-led panel – including dermatologist, Dr Anjali Mahto; aesthetic doctor, Dr Suha Kersh; and facialist and TCM acupuncturist, Ada Ooi – offering us practical routes to skin confidence: from managing mask-related breakouts to overcoming “Zoom face” fatigue. The result? Facing this next chapter with positivity: armed with the knowledge to take back control of our skin, but also our state of mind.
