The Power of Rest: From Circadian Rhythms to Sleep Optimisation

Sleep is a human necessity: it governs our mood, how we perform, our tendency to anxiety, and even our digestion. In partnership with DIOME – and ahead of the clocks going forward – we posed a simple question: how can we ensure a more restful night’s slumber – and what role do our skincare routines, circadian rhythms and nutrition really play?

We were joined by an insightful panel of wellness experts – including celebrity facialist, Sarah Chapman; sleep expert and DIOME lead scientist, Dr Maria Jencikova; and nutritionist and functional medicine practitioner, Rose Ferguson – who shared the latest knowledge into sleep optimisation: from the power of aromatherapy and topical ingredients, to the role of systems biology, as well as the lifestyle amends that can better support our sleep architecture.

Together, we deepened our understanding of what a good night’s sleep really means – but also took away the everyday tools that can help us to feel rested, in both body and mind.
