Healthy Weight Loss: Understanding the Role of Hormones, Skin Support and Surgical Solutions
At a certain point in life, diet and exercise simply don’t touch the sides; hormonal fluctuations start to take effect, and self-esteem can start to suffer. So, how can we better embrace body confidence, and find the path that’s right for us?
We were joined by our panel of physique-focused experts (including GP and hormone expert, Dr Martin Galy; aesthetic doctor, Dr Ana Mansouri, and consultant plastic surgeon, Mr Georgios Orfaniotis) as we explored how to embrace healthy weight loss – as well as unpicking the role that hormones, skin support and surgical interventions all play.
Together, we shone a light on the safer, more sustainable routes to weight loss – from the role of GLP-1s and hormone balancing, to nutritional advice, supplementation and lifestyle amends – but we also discussed the solutions that can help support in the aftermath of rapid weight loss: from collagen stimulation and in-clinic treatments, to surgical interventions and biohacking therapies. The goal? To empower ourselves with knowledge; enabling us to choose the right path to greater body confidence – whatever that might look like.
