Finding Confidence: New Routes to Supporting Skin, Body and Hair
Confidence is something that often eludes us. Perhaps it’s down to breakouts and skin disruption, or anxiety about our changing body. Maybe it’s the low-lying distress as our scalp becomes compromised and our hair begins to fall. The impact of this ebbing and flowing creeps into every corner of our lives – so, how do we find support and strength as our self-esteem begins to wane?
In conversation with an open-minded, all-female panel of experts – including aesthetic doctor and global thought leader, Miss Jonquille Chantrey; breast surgeon and fat transfer specialist, Mrs Jacqueline Lewis; and trichologist and founder of The Hair Growth Clinic, Hannah Gaboardi – we discussed the treatments that can help to reinstate our sense of self-worth. Skin optimisation and hair restoration, through to aesthetic and surgical interventions were all up for discussion – but so too was examining our internal dialogue, and reframing how we think.
The aim? To discover new routes to affecting positive change – both internally as well as externally – while bringing greater confidence to every area of our lives.
