All About Breasts: What Every Woman Needs to Know
Big or small, natural or reconstructed, our breasts are an enduring symbol of being a woman: they tap into our sexuality, our femininity and our maternal instinct. However, our breasts are also prone to change: both good and bad. So, how can we uphold our sense of identity as time takes its toll, when illness manifests, or as medical intervention might be necessary?
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we were joined by an empowering, all-female panel of breast-focused experts: including breast and body surgeon, Mrs. Jaqueline Lewis; holistic therapist and founder of Ground Wellbeing, Peigín Crowley; and medical tattooing artist and expert, Karen Betts.
From essential checks and artistic reconstruction, to the role of cancer care and naturopathic support, we discussed the treatments, techniques and therapies that can help foster confidence in our breasts once more – no matter the road we’re navigating.
