Your work combines intuition, tarot and meditation – can you take us back to the beginning of your journey and share what first drew you to this path?
People are often surprised to learn I spent 12 years in the tech industry. My world was deadlines, strategy and problem solving, and I loved it, but over time I realised I was incredibly good at listening to everyone else except myself.
Meditation was the first thing that helped me change that. The more I slowed down, the more I realised I had always experienced the world quite intuitively, even as a child. Over time I began developing my psychic abilities and tarot naturally became another language through which that intuition could be expressed.
Today, meditation keeps me grounded, intuition guides me, and tarot helps bring those insights into a tangible conversation either with myself or for others. Before any intuitive work I always meditate.
Many people are becoming more interested in spirituality and self-discovery today. Why do you think we are collectively seeking deeper connection and meaning at this moment in time?
Our attention has become our most valuable currency, yet we give it away without our attention. We are constantly consuming, consuming people’s opinions, lives and ideas, that we have lost touch with our inner voice.
I don’t think we are necessarily searching for spirituality, I think we are searching for ourselves. Spirituality just happens to be one of the paths that helps people reconnect.
For me, it’s never been about escaping reality or finding all the answers, it’s about creating enough space to hear your own thoughts, feel your own feelings, to trust yourself and to feel more a part of your own life.
Tarot is often misunderstood. How would you describe its true purpose, and what role can it play in helping people navigate life’s challenges and transitions?
People often assume the cards hold the answers. They are simply a bridge. The insight comes through intuition, the cards help give it shape and language. They have a very special way of allowing us to feel seen, heard and felt, without saying a word.
At its heart, tarot creates space for reflection. In moments of uncertainty, a reading can offer clarity, perspective and the confidence to trust our next step.
Intuition is a word we hear often, but many people struggle to trust their inner voice. In your experience, what prevents us from accessing our intuition? How can we strengthen that connection?
Noise. We’re constantly looking for someone else to tell us what to do – AI, Google, social media, books, podcasts, friends. Our intuition cannot compete with all of that. It is usually the quietest voice in the room. It rarely arrives with certainty, more often it arrives with quiet. The more space you create, the easier it becomes to hear. Meditation, walking without your phone or even five minutes of silence can be surprisingly powerful.
Meditation has become a cornerstone of modern wellbeing. What is meditation in simple terms?
Meditation isn’t about escaping your mind, it’s about finally meeting it. It’s about noticing where your mind has gone, and gently coming back. I think we can often overcomplicate it. It’s really just about holding our own attention.
How has your own meditation practice evolved over the years, and what impact has it had on your personal and professional life?
As someone with a very active, loud and busy mind, what began as something I practised to quieten my mind has become so much more. It has changed the way I make decisions, how I show up for clients and how I navigate uncertainty. I still have busy days and racing thoughts, but I’m much quicker at coming back to myself and remembering that one is not the other.
Through your work with clients, what are some of the most common themes or questions that people bring to you? How do you address those concerns in practice?
Almost everyone comes looking for clarity, guidance or direction. They might think they’re asking about a relationship or a career move, but underneath it all they’re really asking, ’can I trust myself?’. That’s the question I’m most interested in helping people answer.
Have there been any particularly profound moments or client transformations that reaffirmed the power of intuitive guidance and spiritual practice for you?
The most meaningful moments aren’t dramatic, they’re quiet. It’s watching someone leave a session sitting a little taller than when they arrived. Seeing someone make a decision they have been avoiding for years. Or hearing months later that they have changed the course of their life because they finally trusted themselves. Those moments never stop feeling special.
In a world that often prioritises productivity, achievement and external validation, how can people reconnect with presence and their authentic selves?
By remembering that your worth isn’t measured by how much you do. The most meaningful parts of life rarely happen when we are rushing, and we spend so much time chasing the next thing that we miss the beauty right before us. Presence, and magic, begins the moment we stop trying to be somewhere else.
What misconceptions do you most often encounter about tarot and what would you like people to understand instead?
That it takes your power away. For me, it’s the opposite. A good reading should leave you feeling more empowered and inspired, not more dependent. The cards don’t make your decisions, you do. That’s what makes the experience so transformative.
If you could offer one piece of guidance to someone who feels disconnected, unsure or at a crossroads in life, what would it be?
Slow down, and insource your decision or next step, don’t outsource it. Taking one step is usually enough and clarity has a funny way of showing up once we stop chasing it.
