What does being “rested” mean to you? For some, it’s about ensuring a sound night’s sleep – so that they can start the day feeling energised. For others, it means instilling calm and lowering stress: perhaps in the body, the digestive system or the mind. But as life moves faster, and time becomes more precious, how can we ensure optimal rest and repair?

A partnership between The Beauty Triangle and SIRO One Za’abeel – “Dubai’s ultimate active lifestyle and business hotel” – this class and conversation concept combined a relaxing yoga class and an insightful conversation on optimal ways to rest and digest, featuring SIRO’s in-house nutritionist, Heeral Shivnani. Hosted in SIRO’s Yoga Studio, with panoramic views of Dubai, and “The Collective” space, the morning concluded with healthy snacks and juice shots, as well a chance to network with like minded people.

Together we discussed the everyday tips and nutritional advice that will ensure a restful day and night – while also learning how to recharge body and mind.

Heeral Shivnani
Clinical dietitian and wellness specialist, Heeral is an Alumni of the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Bachelor’s in Nutritional Science & Toxicology/Dietetics. In her current role as a Nutritionist at SIRO One Za’abeel, Heeral’s expertise spans nutritional analysis, diet education and fitness nutrition, which has allowed her to collaborate with SIRO’s master trainers to support members in meeting their individual health and weight management goals.

With a specific interest in movement and mindfulness, Victoria works closely with leading practitioners through The Beauty Triangle to educate and empower consumers to make safer, better-informed decisions.
