What does wellness look like to you? Could your skin do with a little more love? Is a falling face getting you down? Or do you need to tackle something more deep-rooted? Fortunately, the self-care industry is brimming with solutions to reset both physical and emotional well-being – from hi-tech facials to pioneering procedures that promise to restore a sense of self. So where to begin?

We were joined by a forward-thinking panel of health professionals (including dermatologist and Royal Fern founder, Dr Timm Golueke; aesthetic doctor and thread lifting expert, Dr Pamela Benito; and plastic surgeon and founder of Real Plastics, Mr Naveen Cavale) who revealed the most cutting-edge topicals, treatments and technologies to fortify skin, face and body – but most importantly, self-esteem.

The aim? To discover new avenues to enhancing both our internal and external health – but also to reframe the way we think about wellness, once and for all.

A specialist in autoimmune diseases of the skin, he has been treating patients from his Munich clinic for nearly 20 years and is renowned for his calm and down-to-earth manner. Timm is also the creator of the Royal Fern skincare line and its pioneering, EMS-powered facial, which is recently-launched at the Lanesborough Spa.

Pamela undertook her training in New York, before moving to London in 2011, where she has established herself as one of the UK’s most in-demand aesthetic doctors. In addition to her artful injectables, she is also sought after for her thread lifts, which she performs from her own elegant space, in addition to the Taktouk Clinic. Pamela is known for her “face couture” approach, as well as her kind and gentle manner.

Mr Naveen Cavale
Naveen is a fully-accredited plastic surgeon who trained and qualified in London. Renowned for his breast work and complex rhinoplasties, he is the founder of the state-of-the-art Real clinic in Battersea, which is pioneering an innovative approach to day-case procedures, both surgical and non-surgical. Above all, Naveen has a warm and empathetic nature which puts his patients at ease.
